Get picked up in the morning in your hotel lobby and take you on a drive to the northern part of Bali. Along the way you’ll have views of the Balinese countryside and see rice fields, traditional Balinese houses and local markets.
Your first stop on this 8-hour tour is Taman Ayun, a temple located at Mengwi village. This was the royal temple of the Mengwi kingdom, and features stunning Balinese architecture and beautiful landscaping. Next you’ll visit a coffee plantation to taste local coffee blends including coffee luwak, the most expensive coffee in the world.
The journey continues up north to the Bedugul mountain area. You will visit Ulun Danu, one of the most iconic temples in Bali, located on the shore of Lake Beratan. The temple has been very important to local Hindus, who worshiped the goddess of water, rivers and lakes, for fertile soil and good harvests.
After a delicious lunch you’ll visit the Jatiluwih rice terrace, where you’ll have magnificent views of the terraces and also the Batukaru mountain. Jatiluwih with its subak water system has been listed by UNESCO as an important cultural landscape.
After Jatiluwih, you will be transferred back to your hotel in air-conditioned comfort.
